it's a gimmick game & it seems good enough at that, but that isn't really my thing. these sort of cheap horror games feed off of paranoia & jump scares rather than actually engaging you in any thoughtful sort of way, which is the opposite of what i like when i want horror. but there's definitely a time & place for these sorts of experiences ...

i have no interest in visiting the rest of this series, though.
