what's new with the site?
current main projects:
- set up ocs profiles
- digital sketchbook
- weekly game journal entries
quick update today. i published a wip section of the site i'm calling my junk drawer, which will eventually serve as a playground for miscellaneous css projects. for now, everything is broken, but eventually i hope it will become a fun hodgepodge to putz around in.

what's new with me?
... i had a major health downfall towards the beginning of the year. i think i pushed myself too hard in december, and around the first week of jan that really came to bite me in the ass. as a reminder, i have nerve damage in both my elbows that causes a lot of pain in my arms & hands -- i've been trying to treat it, but naturally, since nearly everything causes flare ups, it's been an incredibly slow healing process. it's been so bad as of late that i can't use my hands for much of anything more than 30 minutes to an hour most days ... and the pain seems to come in unpredictable waves; some days, i feel i'm recovering, other days, i'm worse than ever. i'm good enough now to write this post, but ... i can already feel the cramping & stinging coming back, so i really do need to make this quick!
i don't know when i'll be able to consistently work again. i'm hoping by the end of the month, but i hoped that in january as well, so ... i can't say. i feel quite depressed, as i can't pursue any of my hobbies anymore -- typing, writing / drawing, reading, it's all too painful -- but i am hoping that i am on a genuine upward trend & that i'll be back to "normal" soon ...
one final note. my beloved kitten toulie turned 1 year old on the 7th, so please wish her good health & happy birthday. i am also turning years old this month, but on the 28th ... please also wish me good health ... i want to escape this rut!
