what's new with the site?
- decorated homepage for christmas;
- added 5 new drawings;
- added new reviews: gothos, clair obscur: expedition 33; stranger of paradise: final fantasy origin;
- updated "curated" tag on art page;
- created "video game" subsection on links page;
- various little tinkerings & toodlings here & there.
current main projects:
- set up ocs profiles
- digital sketchbook
- weekly game journal entries
been a minute, sorry! just a few little updates for now ... slowly adding game reviews & trying to keep up with drawing once a week, both of which have been fulfilling if not also challenging. also split my "other cool sites" page further by adding a section for video games, since i realized like half of the "misc" section was just game related lol. and besides that, i've just been popping in every now & then to fuddle with code snippets, update the neopets webring, and other such miniscule tasks.
i'd really like to work on getting more of my ocs up on here, particularly those who WERE up but got axed during the backend overhaul. once i have more time & energy, expect those to be the first things i start working on again. ( bets on if i stick to this plan or not? )

what's new with me?
i got a really, really bad relapse in arm pain in both my arms around halloween time. i'm still in quite a bit of pain, but i'm sick to bastard death of doing nothing but sitting around! it's so devestating for my mental! i'm managing the pain as best i can & trying to not actually push myself to the point of further pain, but regardless, i still need to spend a lot of time doing nothing.
the last few weeks have actually been kind of ghoulishly painful, in a kind of funny way. ( brief TMI ) while nursing my stupid ass arms back to health, i enjoyed a crampy period there for week, then literally right as it was done i got my covid booster vax, which left me feeling SO so bad -- the worst side effects have been for me yet -- nasuea all day, chest pain, headaches, eye aches, full body aches ... then after THOSE passed in about 3-4ish days, i got a sinus infection somehow, which left me with the craziest, sharpest headache i've ever had. literally nonstop bullshit from my body hahahaha
but i'm feeling better now. just dealing with the usual pain at this point. i'm hoping i'll be well enough to make cookies to send out to friends again this year ... i'm no baker, but i am highly energized by the idea of sending friends little presents & treats.
