i FINALLY beat the dlc, oh man. i have lots of thoughts about it ( which i'll write elsewhere on the site ) but god damn ... it was so good. i want to go back & play it again immediately hahahah ... aaaaaahhhh
but here's iowerth to celebrate. the giant sunflower weapon you get from the avatar ended up being my new bread & butter, and i think it looks surprisingly good & bittersweet being wielded by iowerth; despite his impenetrable stoicism, i think he would have immediately understood the significance of that fight.
and of course ... i had to draw him with the fading crown of miquella. what a tragedy, truly ... to strike down the man(?) who gave you a second chance at life, all because the morals he imparted on you he seems to have abandoned & forgotten, in favor of the same oppressive cruelty he once sought to avoid ... WOE!
in many ways, the dlc feels crazy catered towards him ( and me, as a result ) ... but in other ways, i feel like he would struggle to make the choices you needed to make as the player to progress. i was expecting a sad story to come out of this thing for iowerth, but the extent & flavor of it surprised me. i ... like it! i think!
