took a long break from drawing due to pain, trying to bounce back. it's upsetting how quickly my skills atrophy during these weeks of downtime ... i'm trying to not wallow, but it's discouraging.

used a pencil brush, even though time and time again it exacerbates pain, no matter how delicately i think i'm drawing. i just can't seem to alter settings enough to get what i want with as little pressure as possible, so i end up pressing harder than i want subconsciously ... all i can do is keep trying, i suppose.
