brushweek day 1

drawing challenge on socmeds where you design a new look for a character based on a paint brush, ala neopets. i've done this before with actual neopets brushes & it was a ton of fun, so i was really happy to find this thing & take part! of course i'm in such pain that drawing still feels too difficult ... plus it's planned for xmas week, which is way too busy and exhausting for me. :(

my plan was to sketch designs for all of them early, then on the day of the challenge i'd clean up & color ... but i didn't even manage that. i'll do what i can & maybe do the rest after the official period, but we'll see.

day 1 was "cosmic". mina & corrinthe have a standard sun & moon sort of thing going on, so i thought i'd just push that. i wanted to imply a kind of black hole-type-thing with corrinthe, since she's constantly on the verge of self-imploding, but it looks more like an eclipse ... which isn't really the right vibe ... ah well.
