portrait for lodovico. i feel pretty satisfied with how i drew his holy book, but it's covering up his body too much ... if i can ever get around to redoing these, i'd like to better show his body type & belt accessories here.

i made him after musing on the bittersweet nature of the finger maidens, and wanted to make a character based on that idea of like, cursed soulmates. i also kind of detest how many of these fromsoft games obsess over the Soft & Waifish Maiden Who Serves You types, and even moreso how fans respond to these characters, so i wanted to make my finger maiden 1) not a maiden, and 2) kind of an unpleasant person.
