carmen prototype

this was a magma sesh drawing. i directly referenced this pic by ezlo-x on tumblr when making this, because it was literally everything i had ever been envisioning for this character lol, and any time i had tried to draw her it was just wrong ... so wrong. i felt instantly inspired when i saw that sketch & tried to get this out of my brain before it was too late.

her design needs a lot more work, but the relief i felt finally seeing carmen on paper in a way that felt correct was great. she's a remarkably old character, and one that has gone through many revisions aesthetically & conceptually since i first envisioned her in highschool ...
