During the endless chaos of the demigod war, Aster's family was accused of treason and her training was cut short, as she & her parents were separated & jailed, awaiting execution. Years passed without any action, however, and as the warring subsided & the guards' minds were lost, Aster eventually broke free of her torturous cell to find herself alone in the ruins of the once radiant capital city.

She now swears vengeance against the Golden Order & the gods, vowing to usurp them for the suffering they caused her.
